我名叫钟雷，是辅仁学校的英文教师。在这九年的英文学习过程中，我最大的体会就是学习英文必须有一个良好的语言环境。这不仅仅是在外国学习，多说多练这么简单，更重要的是为自己建立一个英文的世界，融入以英文交流，以英文思考的理念之中，并为每一次接触英文当作一次学习英文的机会。初学英文不妨由浅入深，先培养自己的兴趣。其实每一次听广播，看电影，读杂志，甚至玩英文的电子游戏都不失是一个学习英文的良机。学习英文很少有捷径，一定要持之以恒，下定决心就一定有收获。

    My name is Zhong Lei and I’m a part time English tutor at FIS. I think the most effective way to learn English, for any foreign language for that matter, is through exposure. Try to immerse yourself in English by creating an environment where you are in constant contact with the language and think in it, too. Learning English is a continuous and gradual process. There is really no shortcut. Try to set both long term and short term, achievable goals along the way and most importantly be consistent and don’t get discouraged. For beginners, it’s critical that you enjoy the learning process. Try picking up a simple book like Chicken Soup for the Soul and watch a popular movie. The results will be enormously rewarding when you begin to build up your confidence and proficiency. It’s definitely worth the efforts.
